Learn and get inspired by others – join a network!

At a time when technology is evolving at breakneck speed, it’s more important than ever to be part of a community where you can learn from and exchange ideas with others. Fortolker is a proud member of Digital Innlandet!
AI and other technologies are challenging and upending a wide range of business models, processes and ways of working. The way you worked last year, or the tools you used, may already be outdated and inefficient this year. New competitors and new ways of working keep emerging. It’s perfectly normal to find it all a bit scary.
In times like these, it helps to have someone to talk things through with – to share experiences and exchange views that are relevant to you and your business, in the region where you’re based. Here in Innlandet we have several such arenas, and one of them is Digital Innlandet.
So what is Digital Innlandet?
Digital Innlandet is a network of more than 80 technology companies in the region – large and small, private and public. The network works to make Innlandet an attractive tech region by building expertise and developing businesses, among other things by creating meeting places across companies, industries and sectors.
Through Digital Innlandet you meet people who are curious about technology in Innlandet. And fortunately, there are plenty of them!
The network as your technology department
Most SMEs in Innlandet don’t have a dedicated tech department of their own. In a way, the network can fill that role. At various meetups you get to hear and discuss how others have solved exactly the same problem, what went wrong, and who you might want to talk to.
In times of rapid technological change, we often see a growing gap between those who use technology smartly and those who fall behind. Not least in the age of AI. A community that shares experiences openly is, in my view, one of the smartest things you can invest your time in.
A small comeback
I’ve served on the board of Digital Innlandet for two terms, and during that time I’ve been part of a really exciting journey. The network is now stronger and more professional than ever.
Now I’m back as a member with Fortolker AS. I believe it’s a really smart move for founders and small businesses to join in and take their place alongside the larger companies. You meet people, become visible, learn and get challenged – to name a few.
Topics I’m particularly passionate about include using AI and automation to create new and better services, but also digital sovereignty – that is, how we can break free from the potential “big tech trap”, stay in control of our data and have alternatives in place should something happen. I’ve written a bit about how to get there before.
Digital Innlandet also published an article about why I joined the network back in January 2026.
Come join the pack!
